Self Walk Imaging is a web platform for event planners and customer engagement. The application is used to help parties plan their event layout in a virtual environemnt. The client came to us to help them visualize what this could look like for prospective users. They tasked us with developing a promo for their application that boasts the unique features while keeping the viewer engaged.
We have had a long-standing relationship with SelfWalk Imaging and their client Hilton Resorts. While working with SelfWalk we have had the opportunity to help them develop their event planning platform. The folks at SelfWalk tasked us with the job of producing highly optimized 3D assets for their experience.
For this project we were give a list of features to highlight and We were asked to make the video engaging to the prospective client. Our workflow stated with producing thumbnails that were turned into a storyboard. Each frame was to flow smoothly into the next. With a clear direction for the flow we began blocking out the geometry and creating rudimentary animations. At last with a path before us we moved on to adding lighting, textures, and rendering preferences. The animation was only complete after post production and audio was implemented.
The tools we used for the production of this piece included Cinema4D for all modeling and animation. Textures and rendering were executed in Octane Render Engine. All post production with finished in Adobe After Effects and audio was compiled in Adobe Audition.
